The following page shows various results of what the chest looks like after a mastectomy. You can see that the results really vary. It seems a big question to me about why there isn't more research or focus on how to leave a nice-looking flat chest. How can you plan your surgery to help ensure such a nice outcome?
Can we learn something from trans people who are undergoing top surgery? Clearly there are differences between this situation and when breasts must be removed because of cancer, but maybe some of the ideas of what looks like a nice flat chest might worth thinking about.
